King Coil Spirits opened in late 2023 and has already garnered accolades for their craft spirits and specialty cocktails. In 2024 alone they have won over a dozen medals at international spirits competitions, including Best In Class Liqueur at the 2024 American Distilling Institute International Spirits Competition and being named Minnesota Gin Producer of the Year at the 2024 New York International Spirits Competition.
King Coil Spirits is located in the Vandalia Tower Complex, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The distillery has been named for its location, which was once known as the King Koil Mattress factory. An anchor in the city’s Creative Enterprise Zone, King Coil Spirits and OG ZaZa hope to further revitalize the Midway neighborhood.

Great local distillery! Amazing cocktails I highly recommend the Artichoke! One of the best cocktails I have ever had. Had a large group out for my birthday and everyone agreed this was our favorite stop of the day!
We loved it! Great vibe and excellent cocktails! My wife and I thought it was a great spot for a nice couples dinner or just chilling with some friends after work. Definitely worth checking out!
Love the atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and signature cocktails! The pizza was awesome - I don't even usually like fish but the Lake Monster pizza was amazing! Can't wait to come back!
